Since 2004, Lynette M. Smith has headed the business and nonfiction copyediting division of All My Best (

In 2009, inspired by a framed letter of appreciation to her and her husband from their son Byron when he married in 2008, she expanded her company in order to publish, from, a set of four Good Ways to Write a Treasured Letter tips booklets for writing various marriage-themed letters of appreciation. This publishing website is also where you can find her newly published comprehensive reference book, How to Write Heartfelt Letters to Treasure: For Special Occasions and Occasions Made Special. This book is Lynette’s latest project related to her big, achievable goal: to get millions of people worldwide to focus on love and gratitude, thus improving their relationships and changing their world.

Lynette holds mem­ber­ships in Editorial Freelancers Association, San Diego Professional Editors Network, and Publishers & Writers of San Diego. Both personally and professionally, Lynette abides by the principles in The Four Agreements by don Miguel Ruiz: Be impeccable with your word; don’t take anything personally; don’t make assumptions; and always do your best.
